We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at The Professional Fundraiser. As a key member of our operational team, you will play a senior role in ensuring our fundraising activities are compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a Fundraiser Compliance Framework, working closely with our Quality and Training Lead to accredit compliance training modules.
- Conduct site visits to support fundraiser relations and ensure compliance, observing and offering support on compliance queries and delivering bitesize training where needed.
- Manage fundraiser complaints, including classification, initial investigation, reporting, and process recommendations, as well as managing fines and penalties.
- Collaborate with our People & Engagement Hub to praise, reward, and recognize our Fundraisers, celebrating success and nurturing strong client relationships.
- Engage with our supporter care hub to monitor feedback, reporting on trends and behaviours of our fundraisers and supporter care team.
Requirements
- A comprehensive understanding of compliance, with a passion for client satisfaction, building relationships, and making strong decisions.
- A confident and strong communicator, with excellent written and verbal skills, both internally and externally.
- Friendly, with a good sense of humour and a polite and professional manner, able to adapt communication methods to suit the recipient.
- A keen organiser, able to prioritise effectively and self-motivate, working well under pressure to strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Well-versed in Google Suite, including Sheets, Docs, and Gmail, or equivalent Microsoft skills.
- Analytical skills and experience using reports to inform strategy and progress, identifying trends.
- A flexible approach to the working week, with a UK Driving Licence.
