Job Title: Intervention Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People. The successful candidate will work in mainstream Primary schools (KS1 / KS2) based in Leicester City and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for building relationships quickly and working in small groups. You will be responsible for carrying out intervention sessions, planning age-appropriate activities, and working with the class teacher to track development and provide feedback.

Requirements:
  • Level 2/3 Support Teaching or Learning (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with students on SEN
  • Strong empathy and understanding of individual student need
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, resilience, and the ability to provide emotional support
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student
