About the Role:

Cycas Hospitality is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of dishes to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a range of dishes, including meat, fish, and shellfish, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Lead and direct the kitchen team, including commis chefs and kitchen porters, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with the line manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in daily briefings and meetings to stay informed and up-to-date on menu changes, promotions, and other important information.
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
