We are seeking a qualified and experienced Cover Supervisor to provide support within Key Stages 1 and 2, based in Leicester City and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for covering classes and teaching identified groups as directed by the class teacher. Your role will involve supporting students to engage with the work provided, including providing support where necessary.

Requirements:
  • Fully qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant or QTS/Degree qualification in Education
  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting in all year groups
  • Confidence in teaching and managing a class in the absence of the class teacher
  • Patience and resilience with the ability to maintain a positive outlook and problem-solving skills to overcome barriers
  • Flexibility and availability to work on a daily supply basis
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
