Penguin Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join a specialist UK-based Environmental Consultancy in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Civil Engineering and experience in Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Design, and Hydrological Assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, including the evaluation of flood risk and the development of mitigation strategies.
  2. Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap, including the analysis of flood data and the development of flood risk models.
  3. Hydrological Assessments, including the evaluation of hydrological data and the development of hydrological models.
  4. Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans, including the development of strategies for managing surface water and mitigating flood risk.
  5. Drainage Strategies and Drainage Design using AutoCAD, Microdrainage, and Causeway Flow, including the design of drainage systems and the development of strategies for managing flood risk.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Design, and Hydrological Assessments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microdrainage, and Causeway Flow.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
