We are looking for a qualified Site Facilities Operator to support our client. The successful individual will be tasked with performing various repair, upkeep, and enhancement activities across multiple commercial sites.

The perfect candidate will possess a diverse skill set in general maintenance and repair, a proactive mindset, and the capability to work autonomously or collaboratively.

This position is part-time, offering flexible hours ranging from 16 to 20 hours weekly.

Main Responsibilities of the Site Facilities Operator:

  • Routine Maintenance: Execute regular maintenance tasks such as changing bulbs, repairing leaks, and fixing broken fixtures.
  • Repair Work: Carry out both minor and major repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
  • Installations: Set up new equipment, furniture, and fixtures as necessary.
  • Inspections: Perform routine inspections of properties to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure all tasks comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Emergency Repairs: Address urgent maintenance requests swiftly and effectively.
  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients professionally, addressing their maintenance requirements and concerns.
  • Documentation: Keep precise records of work completed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage the inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance duties.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Site Facilities Operator or in a comparable role.
  • Skills: Proficient in a wide array of maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep.
  • Tools: Competent in the safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
  • Physical Capability: Able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Time Management: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Driving License: A valid UK driving license is essential.
