Insurance Customer Support Specialist - New Business

We are seeking dedicated individuals with a strong aptitude for problem-solving to become part of our New Business division as an insurance customer support specialist. You will engage with clients at the crucial moment of their insurance acquisition, providing exceptional service and value. If you are driven by the desire to positively impact customers, this position offers you the opportunity to do just that.

Working Hours / Shift Patterns: This role requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, following a rotating shift schedule from 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday, with additional hours on Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00 and Sunday from 09:00 to 13:00. You will be expected to work one full weekend and one Saturday every five weeks. Should you work a weekend shift, you will receive time off in lieu.

Training: Your training will take place in our office over a six-week period. The initial three weeks will consist of both theoretical and practical learning in a classroom setting. The subsequent three weeks will transition you to an Academy environment, where you will apply your knowledge while assisting customers under the guidance of experienced coaches. Upon completion of your training and once you demonstrate the ability to work independently, you will have the option to transition to a hybrid working model.

Our Hybrid Working Approach: With our hybrid working model, you will enjoy greater flexibility, typically requiring only one office visit per week while working remotely for the remainder of the time. You may choose to work from the office more frequently if that aligns better with your preferences. Attendance in person may be necessary for training and events.

Compensation: The starting salary for this position is £23,500, accompanied by benefits and opportunities for salary advancement.

Responsibilities of the Insurance Customer Support Specialist:

The New Business Team is responsible for providing clients with new insurance quotes, whether they are interested in car, bike, van, home, or multi-car/bike policies. We ensure that clients receive all necessary information to make informed decisions, guaranteeing they have the appropriate coverage tailored to their needs. Whenever feasible, you will assist clients in completing their policy purchases using our digital platforms.

Training continues beyond your initial onboarding. We offer a robust development program with a clear path for advancement within your role.
