Job Summary:

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within our facilities is carried out in a safe, compliant, and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and preventative electrical maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Diagnose and replace failed domestic electrical components to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Respond to breakdowns and conduct repairs in accordance with the appropriate Safe System of Work and in a timely manner.
  • Actively fault find and problem solve on domestic electrical systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Undertake electrical installation activities in accordance with design specifications and industry regulations.
  • Test and inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with current regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and order critical spares for all electrical services to maintain inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the site management team.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate technical qualification, such as City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, or NVQ level 3 or above.
  • Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at Work Regulations.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Capacity to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues.
