About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Technologist to join our team at b3 Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity and legal obligations of our food supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain our quality manual and food safety documents, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  2. Support the successful completion of customer and third-party audits, and participate in the investigation of complaints and food safety close calls.
  3. Drive continuous improvement in our food safety practices and standards, and train relevant personnel on quality management procedures.
  4. Gather and submit data for our packaging waste regulations and EPR obligations.
  5. Collaborate with the technical department to develop and implement new processes and procedures.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a technical or quality background in food manufacturing, and a degree-level education in a related field. You should have excellent analytical and numerical skills, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

  1. Strong understanding of GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive under pressure.
  3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  4. Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to keep up to date with food legislative changes.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £27,000 - £35,000 depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. The role is based in Berkshire and offers a great work-life balance.
