About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technician to join our Technical Team in Byfleet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of projects, working closely with the Head of Technical to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce detailed working drawings for complex retirement apartment projects, ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations.
  • Verify and approve supplier information, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Liaise with the National House-Building Council (NHBC) to ensure adherence to current building standards.
  • Develop site-specific technical details, taking into account local regulations and site-specific requirements.
  • Attend regular site meetings to ensure effective communication and project progress.
  • Collaborate with external consultants, statutory bodies, and suppliers to deliver high-quality drawings and ensure project success.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Architectural Technician, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations, including Building and Fire Regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with the ability to produce high-quality drawings and technical details.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders, including consultants, suppliers, and statutory bodies.
  • Initiative and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
