As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for progressing your own caseload, working collaboratively to achieve departmental goals, and demonstrating excellent drafting and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities
  • Progress your own caseload of Social Housing Disrepair claims, including Landlord & Tenant matters and Personal Injury Claims.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as surveyors and external counsel, to achieve departmental goals.
  • Demonstrate excellent drafting and advocacy skills, ensuring the highest level of service to our clients.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the smooth progression of cases.
Requirements
  • At least 24 months experience handling a caseload of claims, including HDR, PI, RTA, and PCP.
  • Experience in handling HDR files and dealing with an array of Housing Disrepair issues from inception to conclusion.
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload and settle files.
  • Experience of working to deadlines with a minimum of supervision.
  • Proficiency with Proclaim or similar CMS, although in-depth training will be provided.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize your workload.
  • Good people skills for teamwork and building relationships with coworkers and clients.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
