Compensation: Starting from £25,000 per annum (dependent on experience, pro rata for part-time)

Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a vital part of our team. You will be based at our Harrogate office and will report directly to the Locality Manager (Registered Manager). Your role will be instrumental in overseeing the operations of our well-established service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of a dedicated team of Support Workers across various locations.
  • Ensure that care and support plans are tailored to meet the specific needs and outcomes of our clients.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and the Avalon quality assurance framework, including conducting financial and medication audits.
  • Assess and develop new service packages while reviewing existing ones to ensure they align with client needs.
  • Enhance the services provided by Avalon through positive engagement with families and fostering strong relationships with service commissioners and care managers.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Proven management experience within the social care sector, including team leadership.
  • Ability to understand and implement CQC fundamental standards of quality and safety.
  • Strong IT proficiency.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business purposes.
  • Willingness to work from the office and engage with local services.
  • Flexibility to participate in the out-of-hours on-call service.
