We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at We Care Group. As a Nurse in Charge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and leadership to our residents in a care home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Lead and motivate a team of carers, providing clinical guidance and coaching to ensure smooth and efficient care delivery.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account residents' preferences and needs.
- Manage medication, including ordering and booking in, and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents.
- Act as a mentor to others, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance care delivery.
Requirements:
- Current NMC registration and a good knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a care home setting, with a strong background in nursing and leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Strong clinical skills, including experience with syringe drivers, catheters, pegs, and venipuncture.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on resident-centered care.
