About the Role

Parexel is seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Strategist to lead the development of scientific and real-world data strategies for client opportunities and proposals. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute the RWD strategy and ensure compliance with data use agreements and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy RWD data strategies for client opportunities and proposals
  • Lead the development of scientific and real-world data asset access
  • Manage vendor and provider relationships
  • Design infrastructure and platforms for RWD solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with data providers
  • Ensure compliance with operating standards, policies, regulations, and SOPs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical informatics, public health, data science, life sciences, or related field
  • Advanced degree in biomedical informatics, public health, data science, life sciences, or related field desired
  • 5+ years of experience in the healthcare, scientific, and real-world data environment
  • Strong understanding of clinical research, business, medicines, and medical device development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work with a decentralized team
