Senior Delivery Manager

Cambridge University Press & Assessment is seeking a seasoned Senior Delivery Manager to join our vibrant software delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to a diverse array of projects, from enhancing established application suites to launching innovative products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower delivery teams to ensure efficient product delivery across various product families.
  • Act as a scrum master when necessary.
  • Manage delivery planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Engage actively in our communities and guilds to help shape our culture and processes.
  • Cultivate an agile mindset and promote a positive team culture.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in balancing innovation with service stability.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge with planning tools and delivery frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, ITIL, Jira, and Trello.
  • Extensive experience of the full end-to-end software development life cycle, with a working understanding of each relevant stage.
  • ITIL experience and technical knowledge to run various phases of software delivery.
  • Strong expertise in relationship management, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement up to the Director level.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and effective risk and issue management.
  • Understanding of the agile mindset and ability to apply it in various scenarios.
  • Experience in managing and coaching empowered teams.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
