As a Business Development Manager for Sherwin-Williams, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our presence within the dynamic automotive finishes market. Your expertise will be instrumental in forging new partnerships and nurturing existing relationships with key players in the industry.
Your Responsibilities:- New Business Development: Identify and secure lucrative opportunities within a defined national territory, contributing to sales targets of up to £3,000,000 through the acquisition of new accounts.
- Strategic Account Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving continued growth within their businesses.
- Industry Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the automotive refinishes landscape, including competitor analysis and emerging trends. Leverage this knowledge to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work seamlessly with internal teams, including sales, technical services, marketing, and product management, to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach.
- Market Representation: Serve as the voice of the customer within Sherwin-Williams, providing valuable insights and feedback to shape our products, services, and overall business strategy.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience within the automotive industry, ideally with a focus on refinishes or coatings.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the automotive sector.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a strong understanding of business development principles.
