Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team at SecureCloud+. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects that meet the needs of our clients in the Defence and Security sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Define, shape, lead, and deliver projects within a client portfolio, ensuring costs, time, scope, and quality are controlled and aligned with the agreed plan.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage stakeholders, including project boards, internal teams, and external partners, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, plan, implement, and monitor risks to anticipate and mitigate potential issues.
  • Issue Management: Escalate promptly any issues that may impact delivery, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including PIDs, plans, RAID, and communication plans, to ensure effective project management.
  • Resource Management: Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Business Continuity: Ensure business continuity by maintaining effective project documentation, daily action logging, and customer reporting.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide accurate and targeted reporting on project status, progress, and performance, ensuring timely and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage multi-disciplined project teams, including matrix reports, to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.
  • Compliance and Governance: Adhere to organizational portfolio, program, and project governance, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: An appropriate IT or business degree or equivalent, with a PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience in project management.
  • Relevant Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in IT or related industries, with a focus on resource management, project delivery, and stakeholder management.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Experience with ITIL, Acceptance into Service processes, and Microsoft Project, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.

Security Clearance

Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain SC clearance, with a view to obtaining UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance as required. UKSV is required for this position, and candidates must be a UK National and/or have been a UK Resident for 5+ years.
