Operations Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Operations Assistant to join our thriving team. This fast-paced role will provide support to a variety of areas alongside the Operations Manager, including estates and finance. No two days will ever be the same.

This is an ideal position for someone who is a team player, who can prioritise a varied workload. The successful candidate will need to be able to show an unrelenting focus on doing what is in the best interests of every student.

  • Can work autonomously, prioritise conflicting demands whilst managing a diverse workload
  • Is highly organised, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Is proactive and flexible and approaches challenges pragmatically to ensure the best outcome for students, families and the wider academy team.

Longsands Academy is an 11-18 fully-inclusive secondary school serving the community of St Neots and the surrounding area. The academy has around 1750 students including 250 in the Sixth Form. Longsands is proud of its inclusive and aspirational approach. The academy also has a strong track record of supporting staff by ensuring excellent mentoring, a supportive culture and many opportunities for development and involvement in wider school activities.
