ROLE: Senior Property Lawyer

LOCATION: Leicestershire - hybrid

RATE: £50ph-£55ph umbrella

CONTRACT: 3 months ongoing - 17 hours a week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and representation on commercial and residential property matters, including due diligence, property transactions, regeneration projects, and compulsory purchase orders.
  • Manage the Property Legal Officer and provide guidance on property law matters.
  • Support the Head of Legal and Commercial Services in ensuring the Council's decision-making process is legally sound and that the Council's committees are advised on legal matters.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Barrister with experience in Property Law.
  • Desirable: Property Law experience within the Public Sector.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Service Care Solutions - Legal as a Senior Property Lawyer. As a key member of the team, you will provide legal advice and representation on commercial and residential property matters, including due diligence, property transactions, regeneration projects, and compulsory purchase orders.

You will work closely with the Property Legal Officer and provide guidance on property law matters. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the Head of Legal and Commercial Services in ensuring the Council's decision-making process is legally sound and that the Council's committees are advised on legal matters.

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Barrister with experience in Property Law. Property Law experience within the Public Sector is desirable. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team.

This is a part-time role, working 17 hours a week, with a rate of £50ph-£55ph umbrella. The contract is for 3 months ongoing.
