Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Compliance Auditor to join our team. As a Compliance Auditor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our organization's compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead External Audits: Conduct thorough external audits and coordinate with funding partners to ensure full compliance.
- Internal Funding Audits: Conduct monthly internal funding audits in line with our deep dive audit strategy.
- Audit Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports, identifying areas of improvement and recommending strategies.
- System Controls: Recommend and implement system controls and enhancements to funding documentation.
- Training and Development: Create and deliver training programs related to new funding paperwork and compliance processes.
- Staff Training: Support continuous improvement by training internal staff on compliance requirements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant funding regulations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with operational staff, subcontractors, and external partners to drive compliance efforts.
- Project Management: Manage ad hoc projects as directed by the Admin & Compliance Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in funding audits, compliance, and data analysis.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in creating and delivering presentations.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of ESFA and other relevant funding rules and regulations.
