Warehouse Shift Manager

Culina Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of productivity, safety, and efficiency are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the shift team to achieve or exceed productivity and service goals, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the highest levels of health, safety, and hygiene in compliance with regulatory requirements, minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, encouraging input and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage the Goods Inwards area to ensure efficient receipt and storage of stock, optimizing inventory levels and reducing costs.
  • Develop and mentor team members to maximize their potential and contribution to the warehouse, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Conduct disciplinary and grievance procedures in accordance with Company policies, promoting a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Monitor and control attendance and overtime levels, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimizing labor costs.
  • Enforce all Company policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
  • Oversee training for team members, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Excel and computer literate, with experience in warehouse management systems and software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels, from team members to senior management.
  • Flexible and systematic approach to work, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Effective time management and prioritization abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
