Job Title: Senior Store Manager

About the Role:

As a Senior Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our charity shop, including recruiting, line managing, and supporting shop volunteers to maximise sales and revenue for participating charities. You will work closely with other shop managers to ensure day-to-day operations are met, meet sales targets, and increase sales and profit for the shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the set-up processes of the shop, including processing deliveries and reporting discrepancies
  • Discuss layout of the shop with the Regional Manager and ensure all merchandising equipment is assembled in line with agreed plans
  • Cover shifts in the absence of volunteers
  • Support the marketing team with activities to raise the profile of the shop and organisation in the local community
  • Take responsibility for rotas to ensure the shop is always operational within its agreed opening hours
Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced retail professional who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to make decisions to drive revenue. You should have experience of working under your own initiative within an established commercial framework and be able to manage time effectively.
