About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Housing Management team as an Assistant Housing Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality housing management service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting tenancy agreement documentation and completing all paperwork associated with home visits
  • Liaising with tenants; responding to enquiries and complaints
  • Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
  • Preparing correspondence in relation to void properties
  • Communicating with external agencies in regard to tenancies
  • Raising purchase orders and ensuring the completion of cash sheets
  • Assisting Housing Officers and Manager with day-to-day tasks
Requirements
  • Recent experience within a customer service environment or administrative position
  • Previous experience of working in a Housing environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, with fast-changing requirements
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel (or similar)
  • Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable
