Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Direct and manage the activities of the day shift personnel, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and safely.
  • Operations Oversight: Supervise the sorting, processing, and baling of recyclable materials, ensuring adherence to company standards and environmental regulations.
  • Safety Management: Implement safety protocols and conduct routine inspections to uphold a secure working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify that the quality of sorted materials aligns with company standards and client expectations.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate training for team members on proper recycling methods, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain precise records of production metrics, equipment status, and team performance. Generate and submit regular reports to management.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any challenges that arise during the shift, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity, ideally within the recycling or waste management industry. Candidates with leadership experience in warehousing, production, or manufacturing are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced industrial setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and organizational abilities.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday, 7am - 7pm
