Co-Founder in Residence, Immune-Related Therapeutics for Paediatric Cancer

Deep Science Ventures is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Co-Founder in Residence to join our team and help create a revolutionary new therapy for paediatric cancer patients. As a key member of our venture creation programme, you will work closely with our team of experts to develop a novel immune-based approach to address the challenges of paediatric oncology.
About the OpportunityPaediatric cancers have a significant impact on health, with limited treatment options available. Current treatments often involve chemotherapy, which can have long-lasting adverse effects on children. Our approach aims to harness the unique features of childhood tumours to revolutionise the way we treat paediatric cancer patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a novel immune-based therapy for paediatric cancer patients
- Work closely with our team of experts to design and implement a comprehensive strategy for venture creation
- Collaborate with industry partners and key opinion leaders to gain insights and expertise
- Contribute to the development of a business plan and financial projections for the new venture
We are looking for a highly skilled and ambitious individual with a strong background in immunology, vaccinology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have expertise in vaccinology and the stimulation of immune response, as well as experience in (pre)clinical drug or vaccine development in immunology, infectious disease, or cancer.
The successful candidate will be driven by unsolved challenges, particularly in the fields of immunology, immunotherapy, and paediatrics. They will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to create a company aiming to develop curative immune-related solutions for paediatric cancer.
What We OfferAs a Co-Founder in Residence at Deep Science Ventures, you will have access to our optimised tools, resources, and processes to help create high-impact ventures from scratch. You will also have the opportunity to work with a team of experts and gain support from industry partners and key opinion leaders.
We offer a guaranteed income of £4,166 per month paid as a consultancy fee until the company is launched and the pre-seed investment is secured. You will also have a majority equity stake in the new company and continuous post-spinout support, including fundraising, commercial partnerships, recruitment, and team-building.
