Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Intelligence Analyst to join the Research and Analysis team within Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE). This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality analytical insights to support our mission of safeguarding the public from terrorism threats.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive tactical and strategic analysis to assist senior law enforcement officials in crime prevention and disruption.
- Utilize advanced analytical methodologies to develop products that inform both strategic and tactical planning in accordance with the National Intelligence Model (NIM).
- Employ structured analytical techniques (SATs) to evaluate the activities of individuals and groups, identifying potential threats.
- Deliver effective support for managerial and operational decision-making, guiding intelligence collection and investigative efforts.
- Make informed recommendations to enhance business operations at both tactical and strategic levels.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as an Analyst within a law enforcement or partnership agency, demonstrating a strong grasp of the National Intelligence Model (NIM). A relevant professional qualification and completion of National Intelligence Analyst training are essential.
Successful applicants will exhibit exceptional communication, problem-solving, time management, and IT skills.
Additional Information
This role may require travel across the South East region and occasionally throughout the UK. A full UK driving licence is necessary. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, candidates must pass and maintain a high level of security vetting, ideally holding DV clearance. Applicants should be British Nationals and have resided in the UK for the past ten years.
