About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roadside Rescue Mechanic to join our team at The AA. As a key member of our roadside rescue team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are repaired and back on the road as quickly as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to roadside breakdowns and repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults, from routine maintenance to complex repairs
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers are informed and reassured throughout the repair process
  • Work independently and as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weather conditions
Requirements
  • NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience
  • A full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
