Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Assistant Principal to join our team at Ernulf Academy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving educational excellence and improving the quality of teaching across the academy.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be an inspirational classroom practitioner with a background in Teach Like a Champion pedagogy or a similar evidence-based approach to delivering high-quality lessons. You will be a highly effective and inspiring leader, able to motivate and encourage colleagues to share our vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead initiatives and develop staff through CPD
  • Drive rapid, transformational improvement in teaching and learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop a knowledge-rich curriculum
  • Implement a traditional teaching and learning approach built around Rosenshine and Teach Like a Champion
  • Develop and maintain a culture of 'home-grown' talent
