Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Management Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team in Swadlincote. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing and consolidating monthly management accounts for the group, conducting detailed financial analysis, and providing insightful commentary on variances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts for the group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Financial Reporting: Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insightful commentary on variances, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with regional professional advisors to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting and tax compliance, and provide ad-hoc financial support and analysis for various projects as required.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience in group finance within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely, and strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
