The organization specializes in the design and manufacturing of a diverse array of engineering components utilized in vehicles, industrial machinery, moving mechanisms, and everyday products.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Sales Engineer, you will focus on developing and nurturing strong relationships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Your role will involve selling high-value orders to OEMs and manufacturers across sectors such as automotive, materials handling, machine building, and industrial engineering.
  • You will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, with an expectation of conducting three customer visits daily.
  • Collaboration with your sales manager will be essential to devise effective sales strategies for your designated area.
  • You will engage in solutions selling for non-standard products while also promoting a comprehensive range of standard offerings.
  • Comprehensive product training and ongoing support will be provided, as expected from a global manufacturer.

Candidate Requirements

  • Essential Qualification: HNC/HND or a degree in a mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Sales Experience: Field sales experience is preferred, though highly motivated individuals eager to transition into technical field sales are encouraged to apply.
  • This role requires a proactive approach to field sales, with a strong emphasis on generating new business.
  • Beneficial knowledge in one or more of the following areas: hydraulics, pneumatics, springs, linear motion, bearings, couplings, or engineered metal or rubber components.
  • A valid UK driving license is required.

Compensation Package

  • Salary up to £40,000, with an OTE including commission ranging from £50,000 to £55,000.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
