About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Oxwash, a leading provider of sustainable laundry solutions. As a key member of our Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial-sized laundry facility, Big Blue I.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing proactive and reactive maintenance tasks on our laundry equipment, including commercial and industrial washing machines, tumble dryers, rotary irons, finishing and dosing machines. You will also be responsible for fault finding, in-house engineering, and collaboration with external specialists to solve any issues with the hardware and plan for future installations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regular servicing and planned preventative maintenance of equipment throughout the facility
  • Fault finding and reporting any defects to the maintenance and site managers
  • In-house engineering and maintenance of machinery and equipment to a high standard
  • Collaboration with external specialists to solve issues and plan for future installations
  • Stock management and ordering of spare parts
  • Health and safety procedures and improving processes over time

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified engineer with experience in electrical and mechanical engineering
  • Specialist knowledge of commercial laundry equipment and good electrical and mechanical competency
  • Driving licence and ability to drive between facilities
  • Problem solving and willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong knowledge of PPM and effective PPM schedules

Benefits:

A competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,500 per year depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development.
