About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tradebe Swindon. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our continuous processing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance activities and record them in accordance with company procedures.
- Keep and maintain accurate maintenance records, ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and filed.
- Identify and report defects on all aspects of the plant and site to the Plant Manager.
- Assist with the training of personnel on the plant, ensuring operators are trained in accordance with site procedures.
- Work with the Plant Manager to produce shutdown plans and ensure all areas of the plant are kept in a safe manner.
- Liaise with the Plant Manager regarding maintenance issues and be available for out-of-hours call-outs as required.
Requirements
- Recognised Mechanical apprenticeship or similar qualification.
- Welding skills and experience of continuous processing equipment are advantageous.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Computer literate and familiar with permit to work systems and PPM maintenance systems.
