We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead our dedicated team at Reed. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable operations across multiple sites, ensuring timely invoicing, managing customer queries, and driving the debt collection process.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of six accounts receivable specialists, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Invoice Management: Ensure all sales invoices are raised promptly and uniformly across all sites, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Pricing and Collections: Manage and resolve pricing queries from customers swiftly and accurately, and oversee the debt collection process, including follow-ups on overdue invoices, negotiating payment terms, and escalating collection efforts as necessary.
- Customer Service: Handle customer claims and disputes professionally and efficiently, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues and minimize financial impact.
- Reporting and Analysis: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports, proactively identifying and addressing overdue accounts, and provide regular reporting and analysis on accounts receivable performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to accounts receivable.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and mentor a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and regulatory standards.
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights on financial metrics.
