Project Leadership: This role involves leading a significant project, with a budget of £12m, which is part of a larger £50m framework. You will be responsible for managing an 18-storey project, guiding it from procurement to final financial reporting to a Commercial Manager.

Project Scope: This is a dynamic project with diverse tasks, including:

  • Fire safety enhancements
  • External wall insulation installations
  • Kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
  • Mechanical & Electrical works - including electrical systems, communal heating setups, domestic ventilation installations, and enhanced cold water supply
  • Development of comprehensive cost estimates and budgets for refurbishment projects.
  • Monitoring project spending and generating regular financial updates.
  • Identifying and addressing financial risks linked to refurbishment projects.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.


Experience Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in cost management, ideally within the social housing sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement methodologies.
