Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant to join our team at St John's Meads Church of England Primary School. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education to our students.

About the Role

This is a permanent, term-time only position, starting in November/December. We are looking for an individual who has a high level of classroom expertise, a track record of good or better teaching, and a secure understanding of the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students
  • Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress
  • Develop and implement teaching and learning strategies to support students with varying needs
  • Work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development of the curriculum and enrichment opportunities for students
