Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled and imaginative Multimedia Content Specialist to enhance our creative team. In this role, you will be integral to the post-production phase, converting raw footage into captivating and engaging videos tailored for social media and online platforms. Your artistic eye and storytelling prowess will be vital in delivering high-quality video content that resonates with our diverse audience.
We seek an individual who is not only passionate about video editing but also eager to inspire and innovate, contributing fresh ideas to elevate our visual content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit weekly podcast episodes utilizing multiple camera angles and audio channels, ensuring a polished and engaging final product.
- Assemble recorded footage, integrate special effects, graphics, and sound, and refine the final video output while collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Contribute to the editing of YouTube clips and social media assets when not focused on podcast editing.
- Incorporate feedback from senior team members swiftly and effectively during the editing process.
- Troubleshoot any technical challenges that arise during editing.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, consistently meeting tight deadlines while exceeding expectations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, continuously learning and experimenting with new techniques and software to enhance your skills.
- Share your expertise and insights with the broader editing team to foster collaboration and growth.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as a video editor, particularly with multicam editing, supported by a professional portfolio showcasing work for social media and online platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and a solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and export standards.
- Strong grasp of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative structure.
- Creativity and a willingness to experiment with innovative editing techniques.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including effective file management.
- A collaborative spirit, thriving in a fast-paced team environment while embodying our core values.
- Ability to multitask effectively, often requiring flexibility beyond standard working hours.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
