Your Future Role

Step into a new opportunity and leverage your Change Management expertise in a pioneering environment. You will report to the Head of Change Management and collaborate with a team of passionate professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Change Control Management (CCM) initiatives within the project/program.
  • Implementing standard procedures, instructions, and templates for Configuration and Change Management, ensuring adherence among team members.
  • Representing the CCM discipline in project and site discussions.
  • Conducting lessons learned sessions for CCM and driving enhancements in CCM practices within your project/program and the broader CCM community.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and overseeing the defined roles and responsibilities.
  • Evaluating and approving compliance statements for all CCM-related requirements.
  • Reporting and escalating any CCM-related challenges within the project/program framework and proposing viable solutions.
  • Being accountable for and reporting on CCM performance metrics; managing actions through a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach.
  • Overseeing the execution of CCM audits and quality gates for deliverables.
  • Contributing to the development of CCM training materials and delivering training as needed.
  • Conducting CCM audits as required.
  • Performing configuration management tasks, including the identification and management of items under configuration control, preparing configuration strategies, and ensuring consistency in configuration status accounting.

In addition, you will engage in Change Management activities such as:

  • Organizing and leading Change Boards.
  • Ensuring the completeness and clarity of Change Requests in collaboration with requestors throughout all stages.
  • Monitoring Change Requests and aligning project stakeholders on necessary changes.
  • Prioritizing Change Requests in partnership with requestors and relevant functions.
  • Facilitating event management and integrating it into the Change Management Process when necessary.

About You

We prioritize enthusiasm and attitude over experience. While we do not expect you to possess every skill, the following qualifications will enhance your success in this role:

  • A degree is preferred, ideally in Engineering, Project Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Configuration and Change Management.
  • Familiarity with Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, and related fields.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Alstom's configuration and change processes.
  • Significant experience in a configuration and change management capacity.
  • Experience in an international setting.
  • Essential knowledge of railway products and systems.
  • Proficiency in CCM tools such as ALM, Clear Quest, and SAP.
  • Strong communication skills with all project/program stakeholders.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement in processes and standards for CCM.
  • Preferably trained in a recognized Configuration and Change Management standard.
