Nuffield Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in the UK, is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to enhance our team at one of our Fitness and Wellbeing Centres.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a robust and effective preventative maintenance strategy for the entire facility, including the building structure and its surroundings. You will ensure that all maintenance issues and inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently, adhering to company policies, procedures, and current health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the completion of all scheduled PPM tasks.
- Execute daily and weekly maintenance checklists.
- Manage and resolve all reactive maintenance requests within a reasonable timeframe.
- Comprehend COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in the management of all Health and Safety Management System documentation.
- Conduct regular pool maintenance and perform routine pool/spa testing during shifts, along with fabric-related tasks.
- Safely receive and store all pool chemicals in accordance with safety protocols.
- Foster a positive and productive working relationship with all team members.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to prioritize health and safety management within the Facilities Maintenance area, ensuring policies, risk assessments, and safe work systems are established.
- Ensure that inspection and checking processes are conducted as required, and any deviations are promptly addressed.
- Proactively report any health and safety concerns to the General Manager and Nuffield Health Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a maintenance role within a facility.
- 3 Day ISRM Pool Plant room certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
- A qualification in electrical or HVAC systems.
- IOSHH Certification.
