We are seeking a Lead eCommerce Strategist to become a vital member of our eCommerce Activation division within the Transact team. This role is distinctive, as the eCommerce team is tasked with crafting a cohesive eCommerce planning and activation strategy for our FMCG clients with international reach.
The primary objective will be to enhance the conversion rates and digital interactions of our clients' brands on partner direct selling platforms and retailer websites, while also improving their visibility and driving conversions. Our mission is to ensure relevance, discoverability, and efficiency right at the point of sale.
Key Qualifications:
- A strong ambition and enthusiasm for all aspects of eCommerce, with a deep understanding of how search functions as the foundation of online transactions.
- A robust background in eCommerce, particularly in retailer activation and performance display, whether from a digital agency or client-side experience.
- Experience in eCommerce activation through platforms such as Criteo, Amazon Advertising (AMS, AMG, and DSP), CitrusAD, and other retail entities.
- An analytical approach, with a passion for examining both qualitative and quantitative data to derive insights.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong skills in presentation and communication.
- Proficient in stakeholder management.
- Adept at delving into performance analytics.
- Identify and comprehend agency/client objectives, challenges, and requirements to actively engage in the campaign planning process and implement eCommerce media strategies.
- Focus on driving efficiencies and demonstrating strong Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) within the retail and direct selling eCommerce sectors.
- Plan, purchase, and activate advertising on Amazon (Vendor, AAP, and AMS) and Criteo Sponsored Products (CSP) within retail environments.
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality eCommerce strategies and outcomes.
- Analyze data across multiple touchpoints, including Skai (Kenshoo) and PacVue, to ensure targeting of the most impactful shopper interactions for each campaign.
- Exhibit excellent stakeholder management skills, understanding the business objectives of each stakeholder to achieve optimal results.
- Ensure adherence to financial processes to maintain commercial consistency across projects, media bookings, and reconciliations.
- Act as a knowledge champion, sharing insights on the latest channel developments with the broader team.
- Support the advancement of joint business plans with key media and technology partners, ensuring clarity on current and future opportunities.
- Encourage a collaborative culture that promotes sharing, innovation, and proactivity.
- Commit to continuous learning and development, remaining proactive, open, and inquisitive both internally and with clients, striving to establish best-in-class eCommerce practices.
