The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 6 direct reports and approximately 50-100 indirect food production operatives. They will work closely with the production team to ensure compliance with daily and weekly production plans, delivering high-quality food products on time and to budget.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader who can implement and drive a positive working culture, focusing on employee well-being, personal development, and performance. They will be responsible for implementing and promoting a happy and buoyant working environment, where everyone is a team player.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the production team to ensure compliance with production plans and deliver high-quality products on time and to budget.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and well-being.
  • Work closely with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor and report on production performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food production management, preferably at Shift Manager or FLM level.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing others.
  • Ability to implement and drive a positive working culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
