Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and calibrate ion-trap quantum computing hardware, leveraging your expertise in experimental quantum technologies.
  • Develop and implement quantum control protocols for ion shuttling and quantum gates, driving innovation in our quantum computing systems.
  • Perform precision calibration, optimization, and characterization procedures on our quantum computing hardware, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop theoretical models and simulations, comparing experimental measurements with predicted quantum dynamics.
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts and technologies, shaping the future of quantum computing.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with laser cooling and trapping of ions, with a strong understanding of precision-timed control systems and signal processing.
  • Expertise in operating and calibrating optical, RF, and microwave control hardware, with a focus on quantum gate implementation and quantum algorithm development.
  • Strong background in quantum simulations, with experience in implementing various quantum control protocols on hardware.
  • Ability to perform simulations and modeling to inform experiments, with a focus on optimizing quantum computing performance.
