About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Commissioning Specialist to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for supporting the installation of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring that they are safely and efficiently commissioned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the installation team with planned and reactive fault diagnoses, basic commissioning, panel modification, and technical queries at site level.
  • Communicate with various departments within the business and liaise with customers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Assist with and carry out all types of Low Voltage electrical work, including fault finding, diagnostics, and panel/circuit modifications.
  • Commission various equipment relevant to the water industry, working closely with Systems Integrators.
  • Navigate HMI/SCADA systems and prepare RAMS to ensure safe working conditions.
Requirements
  • Gold ECS card
  • CCNSG Safety Passport
  • Fitness to work medical
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures
  • Willingness to learn and undertake occupational and Health and Safety training
  • Prepared to take responsibility for self and others
  • Able to work on own initiative and ability to give and take instruction
  • Completion of appropriate electrical qualification
Desirable
  • EUSR
  • Knowledge of Ethernet & industrial networks, VSD, soft start, star/delta, DOL starters, PLC & HMI/SCADA
