Key Responsibilities- Fire Management Standards: Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in the development and implementation of robust fire management standards and arrangements across our QinetiQ UK footprint.
- Fire Safety Advice: Offer competent and technical fire safety advice and guidance where required.
- Fire Risk Assessment: Support the delivery of Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) programmes and engage with site representatives and Senior Fire Safety Leads.
- Fire Improvement Programmes: Coordinate fire improvement programmes and work with key stakeholders to enhance existing prevention and protection measures, fire safety management, and assurance.
- Fire Safety Expertise: Ability to provide effective scrutiny of business activities in relation to fire safety.
- Fire Risk Assessment Experience: Strong experience as a Fire Safety Advisor and in Fire Risk Assessment.
- DSEAR Risk Assessment: Robust understanding and training/certification in DSEAR risk assessment.
- Legislative Knowledge: Thorough understanding of applicable legislation, regulatory/enforcement bodies, and fire prevention/protection technical standards.
- Fire Safety Qualifications: Professional qualifications in fire safety management, ideally a level 4 Diploma qualification.
