About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced UCO Processing Supervisor to join our team at our brand new Dagenham processing plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our processing operations and contributing to our mission to serve the planet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the loading and unloading of vehicles to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Supervise a team of operators to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard
  • Operate and understand steam systems to maintain optimal plant performance
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of pumps to ensure reliable and efficient operation
  • Ensure planned preventative maintenance is carried out as scheduled to minimize downtime
  • Effectively manage the Permit to Work system to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
  • Sub-contractor management to ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard
  • Implement and manage the Lock out Tag Out (LoTo) System to ensure safe working practices
  • Conduct return to work interviews and handle disciplinary meetings where required
  • Assist the Manager in relation to the processing operation to ensure seamless day-to-day operations

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in processing operations. The ideal candidate will have:

A forklift truck licenceExperience gained in a processing environmentPrevious manual handling experienceSupervisor/team leader experiencePermit to work/LoTo experienceUnderstanding of planned maintenance
