Rotational Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rotational Pharmacist to join our team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pharmacy service.

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services to patients across our hospital sites, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior pharmacists, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and address patient safety issues, promoting a culture of safety and quality improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical and regulatory developments, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and pharmacy services.

• MPharm or equivalent qualification, with registration as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a hospital pharmacy setting, with a strong understanding of clinical pharmacy practice and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and priorities.
