(Salary band 2.2) Qualified applicants (with an accredited VAWG /domestic abuse qualification)

£29,174.06-£31,826.25 per annum, £17, £19,094.55 based on working 22.5 hours per week.

(Please note, successful candidates are usually appointed at the bottom of the relevant band)

About the Role


We are seeking two part-time Housing Support Case Workers to assist women who have experienced sexual exploitation, trafficking, or have exited prostitution within a secure accommodation setting. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver case management services to residents, ensuring their individual needs are met.

You will conduct risk and needs assessments, collaborating with clients to create personalized support plans tailored to their specific requirements. Your role will also involve guiding service users towards achieving their objectives related to education, training, and employment, while promoting their overall health and well-being.

Additionally, you will oversee house management duties, ensuring the accommodation is well-maintained and conducting regular health and safety checks. You will also be tasked with reporting any maintenance issues to the landlord and compiling monitoring data for your supervisor on a quarterly basis.


About You

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and experience in supporting women who have faced trafficking and sexual exploitation. You should be knowledgeable about the effects of trauma on survivors and possess the ability to manage risks effectively while adhering to case management protocols.

Experience in helping women recognize their needs, perform risk assessments, develop safety plans, and connect with other agencies is essential. A working knowledge of legal remedies, housing, and welfare benefits is also required.
