Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in the BS48 area of North Somerset.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a Year 2 pupil who requires 1:1 support due to speech and language needs. The pupil is working at a Reception level, and we are looking for someone who can adapt lessons to meet their understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and communicate effectively.
  • Be flexible and encouraging when working with the pupil.
  • Be adaptable with the child's learning environment.
  • Communicate and observe personal and learning development.
  • Support children in a group setting, using objects to support and encourage learning.
