Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Associate Director to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our Accounting and Business Advisory line of service, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services on a portfolio of clients, working closely with other service lines such as Audit and Tax.
  • Manage the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, billing, and debt recoverability.
  • Participate in business development, contributing to the growth of the department and the firm through targeting and lead generation, supporting proposals to new clients, and agreeing projects with existing clients.
  • Provide insights to clients, drawing on the firm's depth of resources, and help to introduce other service lines as you build relationships.
  • Act as a senior team-member and leader in the team, providing coaching and development opportunities to more junior members.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of experience at a manager level.
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of client work within professional practice, with a strong accounting and financial reporting skillset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven experience of building lasting client relationships.
  • Adaptable and collaborative team player, able to work at all levels from trainee to Partner.
  • Ability to make a positive contribution through business development, with a talent for identifying opportunities and introducing new clients.
