Our Digital and Data teams within the Business Services function play a crucial role in supporting our Commercial and Residential divisions, ensuring we provide a suite of top-tier services to our clients.

Role Overview:

This position involves taking ownership of Commercial property market platforms. The role is multifaceted, encompassing supplier management, product development, and system oversight, along with advocacy and promotion. A successful candidate will blend technical solution identification with a profound understanding of Commercial property market dynamics. You will manage relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring the delivery of strategic goals while safeguarding the firm’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of our Commercial Product Strategy, continuously monitoring existing and potential Commercial Data Products.
  • Collaborate across various teams to ensure compliance with all licensing agreements.
  • Manage and communicate system issues, potential developments, and efficiencies in procurement processes.
  • Prepare and maintain regular progress reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitate regular communication with users and suppliers, ensuring clarity and consistency. Organize key meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Align the Product Strategy with our overarching Business Strategy.

Compliance:

Liaison, Communication & Advocacy:

  • Ensure compliant license management and data usage, addressing any internal escalations.
  • Effectively represent and engage with internal business users and senior stakeholders, capturing business requirements to deliver suitable solutions.
  • Exhibit the gravitas to present and communicate with all stakeholders, maintaining visibility and objectivity.
  • Document business processes and requirements with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical users while liaising with technical development teams, prioritizing enhancements based on business needs.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in managing key supplier relationships.

Knowledge Profile:

  • Deep understanding of commercial real estate systems, data platforms, and user requirements.
  • Process-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse platforms and teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • A collaborative team player, adept at working with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex challenges.

Career Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of expertise in Commercial property market information, analytics, and marketing data services.
  • Prior experience as a product owner is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Degree-level education and/or 5+ years of equivalent experience in Commercial Property systems, with significant exposure to business processes and systems.

Systems and IT Competencies:

Essential:

  • Proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, alongside familiarity with commercial property market information and third-party databases.
