Salary: £12.82 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Role Overview:

Vision for Education is in search of a committed and enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our esteemed educational institution. This role is focused on supporting students with diverse social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with students exhibiting a variety of emotional needs and behaviors that may be difficult to manage. You will be part of a nurturing and skilled team dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for our learners.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Work collaboratively within a team to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Engage with students in a compassionate and supportive manner.
  • Adapt to fast-paced educational environments and respond effectively to challenges.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or SEMH.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative approach.
  • A warm and engaging personality.
